Valentine's Day Raffle

So, it is about that time of the year again.

Valentine's Day is almost here.

February 14 is not just a day to share with your husband or your wife anymore. It has become a day where everybody shares that day with somebody. It can be a significant other, a friend, family or even a group of people you are really close with.

Miami Heat vs. Chicago bulls Game 3

So it's Game 3 and the Heat are 2-1 in the series.
1st quarter, haslem playing his 2nd game of the season.

Chris Bosh, at the foul line, makes 2 of 2 foul shots.
Bosh, back again at the foul line, making 2 of 2 foul shots. Bosh then making a tricky 2 point shot. Heat putting a couple of points between then and Chicago. James at the foul line making 2 of 2 foul shots.

Miami Heat vs. Chicago Bulls Game 2

Missed the first half of the game, but got to watch the second half of the game which was pretty intense.
Udonis Haslem, Miami native and Miami Senior high grad, is back int he game.
3 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, Haslem with a one handed slam dunk.
Haslem stepping up after being out the whole season on an injury. Haslem with another great score bringing @MIA 71 @CHI 65.
Dereck Rose, Bulls, misses 2 for 2 fouls
Bosh turns the ball for traveling with 6:37 left in the 4th quarter the @Heat 73 tied with the @Bulls 73. The Miami Heat really needed to step up if they want to win the game. James with a nice 3pt. shot . Then coming in with another 2 pts.
Wade sent to the foul line. making 2 for 2 foul shots. James, finally stepping up in the in the 4th quarter, with a steal

Miami Heat vs. Chicago Bulls Game 1

So for the longest time since the last heat game I wrote about, this was the first game i literally got to watch of the semi-finals.Al though i missed the first quarter and a lot of the 2nd, I did enjoy the game.

With 1:47 left of the 2nd quarter, Miami was down by two

It was a close game in the last two minutes, both teams neck to neck.

• James to Bosh for a great play

• Wade driving the ball to the basket making a nice 2 pt. shot

• Heat fouled by Chicago, and Lebron James come in with a nice 2 point shot

With 5 minutes left int eh 3rd quarter, the Heat need to get their head in the game as Rose, Bulls, makes 2 of 2 foul shots. Making it a 7 point difference. @Chi 65 @Heat 58. The Heat really need to stop being intimidated at this point and start playing tow in.
Noah, Bulls, is scrappy and in your, definitely a player to look out for.

• Mario Chalmers in for the 4th quarter and with 7 min left in the game, he made a nice 3 point shot.

• Chalmers is on fire in teh 4th quarter, but Rose is definitely a force to be reckoned with

• The Heat really need 12 points just to stay alive in this game

Even with those extra points, it wasn't enough to help the Heat get back into this game. The 4th quarter ended with @Bulls 103 @Heat 82.

Miami Heat vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

I am so excited to report that I was able to see this game live and in person. I was so excited. A special thanks to my boyfriends boss who gave him the tickets. I had such a great time, seeing a game in person in such a long time.

The 1st quarter, the dynamic duo of wade and LBJ are on fire as Ilgauskas and James face their former team....the Cavaliers.

The 2nd quarter was great. Wade made a 3pt. shot, then he made a layup, and another 2 point shot straight. He was 3 for 3. It was great. Just when things couldn't get any better , Wade made an amazing great slam dunk. Lebron James was not far behind making great plays.

In the 3rd quarter, I honestly thought that the Cavaliers were going to tie the game, but the Heat kept their hustle and brought the game back.

4th quarter.

Miami Heat vs. Atlanta Hawks

Today January 18th, the Heat played against the Atlanta Hawks. I haven't been really on top of the games lately. I've always had some errand or other so when i miss one game a few others just slip from my knowledge.

From my understanding, after having a great run this season winning almost every game back to back, the Heat's winning streak has come to a very dead halt. They've lost 3 of their last games.

Come on Heat, we're rooting for you.
They actually played in their Home town of Miami, Fl at the American Airlines Arena.
The first half wasn't really appealing. They weren't playing like their usual selves, with bosh out for the game with an ankle injury. If it's not Wade, it's Lebron, and if it's not Lebron its Bosh. The dynamic trio need to find a way to keep it together. The Heat were trailing behind the Hawks in the 1st half, and just when things were picking up, the Hawks found a way to retaliate.

The Heat continued to trail behind the Hawks with only 5:30 left in the 3rd quarter. MIA: 45 @ ATL: 46. The 3rd quarter ended with no big change. The effort was in, but not the Heart. MIA:55 @ ATL:58

Coming into the 4th quarter

• Eddie House with a steal @ 10:10 into the game, while drawing the foul at the other end of the court
• Struggle with the ball amongst both teams
• Wade makes a tricky shot, while being blocked by 3 guys

7 minutes into the 4th quarter and Miami is tied with the Hawks. LBJ scores for the first time in the the 4th quarter.
2 min. left.

• ATL, MIA are tied

Miami isn't really playing their best in this game. with 54.6 seconds left in this game, it'll take al the layers to pull together just to win it. The heat decide to take this game into Over time instead of trying to go for the win in the last remaining seconds of the game. Will this make or break them?
We soon found out. The Hawks weren't letting their guard downs for one second. With 35 seconds left and the Heat weren't able to redeem themselves in tonights game. What a disappointing loss for Miami. This brings their total to 4 straight lost games. Sadly, the game ends with Heat 89 @ ATL: 93. LBJ and Wade with a combined score of 51 points. LBJ with 34 points, 7 assists. Anthony with 16 rebounds.

" A loss today, is a win tomorrow. Keep your heads up Heat. You'll win it next time."

On Monday January 3rd, Miami won against the Charlotte Bobcats 96-82, bringing home an 11th straight road game win.

January 4th, the Miami heat are paying their 2nd game of the NEW YEAR against the Milwaukee Bucks.

The 1st quarter ended with @Heat leading the @Bucks 26-20. It was a tight game. Both teams were playing really good defensively and offensively. LBJ and Wade ended the first quarter with 8 pts., Bosh with 6 Rebounds and LBJ with 3 assists.

Later, the 1st half ends with the Heat trailing behind the Bucks with 47-51.

The 3rd quarter ended with @Heat leading the @Bucks 73-70. Lebron James ended the 3rd quarter with 22points, 6 assists. Bosh ends with a double-double of 19 points, 10 Rebounds. Wade ends the 3rd quarter with 17 points.

• With 4 min. left in the 4th quarter, bosh w/ a rebound, a pass to LBJ and a great corner shot by Lebron James himself. lol! Amazing! 
• 3:21- nice pass to D. Wade across the court, where he was left alone, for a great slam dunk. 
• 3 min. left- Mario Chalmers with a nice outside the line rebound save, Wade for the catch, passes to LBJ who makes the shot. Incredible!

What a great game. The 4th quarter was the best one yet. Some great plays by the Heat in just under 5 minutes. The 4th quarter ended with the Heat bringing home another victory, 101-89. 

1. Wade finished the night with a total of 34 points, 
2. LBJ with a total of 25 points

Miami Heat vs. Warriors

Miami played their first game of the New Year, January 1st, 2011, with home advantage. After playing ten straight games on the road. A great Victory for the Heat, having had won all ten road games.

Now they played a home game here in Florida. I only saw the first few minutes of the game. After that I kept on refreshing the heat page on my phone just to keeps tabs on the score. I was going crazy refreshing the page every minute or so. I saw the recap of the game as soon as I could.

The first half was pretty brutal for the Miami Heat. The Heat allowed a total of 72 points from the Warrior. 32 points each quarter. How awful?

The Heat were not easily phased, they came in the 3rd quarter strong. The 2nd half of the game was looking pretty good for them. They were a completely different team in the 2nd half. Stepping up their defense. It was a tight game none the less, but one the Heat got the lead over the Warriors they didn't let it go. The 4th quarter ended with the Heat bringing home another victory. Heat 114 @ Warriors 107.

Miami Heat vs. Houston Rockets

December 29, 2010, the Miami Heat play against Houston Rockets. They played the night before, Dec. 28, against the NY Knicks, where they came out victorious 106-98. The Heat now having to play their 2nd straight game in a row.

The game has been tight throughout the 1st half, with only a few points in difference. The Heat need to step up their game if they want to take the win. The Rockets, are playing strong. They are in it to win it.

There are only 6 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, LBJ makes a steal and rams it down the court for the slam dunk. Great hustle by the Heat in the 3rd quarter.

With only 6 minutes left in the 4th quarter, Miami needs to stop making those crazy shots and make some smarter plays. With the last few minutes left in the game, you can see the drive and the intensity from which both temas are playng just when you think the Rockets were going to catch up, the Heat makes an amazing comeback. Wade playing fiercer in this quarter after getting hit in the lip.
With 35 seconds left in the game, Joel Anthony makes both foul shots, when the Heat needed the most. Then Wade and Mario Chalmers were sent tot eh foul line making all of their shots. The game ends with Miami being victorious, 125-119. Great game for both teams.

This brings the Heat to a total of 16 won games out of the past 17. They've won all straight ten road games. Amazing, couldn't have expected anything less from a team who has come such a long way this season.

Stay tuned, for the next game. The Heat will be playing their first game of the new year on Sat. January 1st, against the Golden State @ 7:30 p.m. Can't miss it.

Miami Heat vs. Los Angeles Lakers

The NBA Christmas Special Game

Welcome to the NBA's, Miami Heat vs. Los Angeles Lakers Christmas Special. 

The game that all Heat and Laker fans were anxiously awaiting for months. Who will be the victor? 

Miami Heat came in strong in the 1st quarter. There many amazing plays. One for instance, was a great pass form Bosh to Lebron James for a 3 point shot. The Lakers on the other hand, weren't playing at the top of their game in this quarter. The first quarter ends MIA:20 @ LAL: 14.

Coming into the 2nd quarter, the Heat were still playing strong. Lakers were starting to pick up the pace on their game. The heat need to keep the hustle and keep playing a good defense. 

4:15 left in the 2nd quarter. The Heat can't afford to get cocky just yet, and continue to play like they were at the start of the game. The first half ends with MIA:47 @ LAL:38. The Heat finish the 1st half with a 9 point lead. 

Miami is officially not the same team we saw in the beginning of the season. Nor are they the same team we saw play against the Lakers earlier in the season. They are playing a lot more intensely , complimenting each other every step of the way. The Lakers aren't playing like 2010 NBA Champs, that a lot of people know and love. 

Coming into the 3rd quarter, Miami, still going on strong, making grea plays. At 1:10 left in the 3rd quarter, LBJ made a good 2 point shot, just as the shot clock came to an end. The 3rd quarter ended with MIA:75 @ LAL: 64.

Miami needs to keep their focus and their consistency, coming into this 4th quarter. They need to rebound more and they need to stop making crazy shots. 

Just when you thought the game couldn't get any better, LBJ made two great steals. Amazing plays by the Heat throughout the whole game. Of course the 4th quarter ends with MIA:96 @ LAL:80. It was not the best game for the Los Angeles Lakers, making this game their 2nd at home game loss. 

Al though, it was great news for the Miami Heat fans who were anxiously awaiting the outcome of this game. Sorry Laker fans maybe next time. 

The stats for the night were. Bryant with 17 points, 6 REB, 7Asst. LBJ: 27 pts. 11 Reb, 5 Asst. Bosh: 24 pts., 13 Reb. Wade ends the game with 18 pts., 5 Reb.The best Christmas for the Miami Heat. Quote by D. Wade, "I just got my X-mas gift."

Miami Heat vs. Arizona Pheonix

After loosing against the Denver nuggets, ending their ten straight win lead, Miami needs to step their game up.

On December 23rd, Miami played against the Arizona Phoenix. Dwayne Wade was not a participant due to a sore left knee.
It was a rough start for the Heat, but they had their good moments throughout the 1st quarter. For example, Carlos Arroyo making a great pass from the half court to Lebron James for the dunk. AMAZING!!!
The 1st quarter ended with PhX:22 @ MIA: 19. PHX played a good defense and had a good hustle in the 1st quarter coming in strong.
In the 2nd quarter, however, Miami came in aggressive. Now that was the team we know and love. It was looking like a tight game. With 4:20 left in the 2nd quarter, Lebron James made a steal, ran across the court and made a pass form his left to his right for the layup. A great play by Lebron James.
Then with just a few seconds left in the 2nd quarter, Lebron James made a difficult 2 point shot, while also drawing the foul. Miami ended the 2nd quarter strong with a 45-39 point lead.
The game was definitely not over. Miami came in strong during the 2nd half, making good defensive plays.
It's down to the last two minutes of the game.
Miami still at the top of their game in the last remaining seconds. The heat finish strong, ending the game with 95-83 win.
It was a great game overall. LBJ ends the game with 36 points. Bosh with 23, 11 rebounds. This brought the Heats standings to 22 wins and 9 losses.
All in all, both teams played a great game. They had their ups and downs, but it was an interesting game from beginning to end.

Look forward to the next game that's creating buzz around Miami and in Los Angeles. The Heat vs. Lakers, this Saturday December 25th, at the Staples Center at 5 pm on ABC. This will be a game to watch. Miami is going to need to play good on both fronts, offensively and defensively. They're going to have to join together and play as aggressively as they have been playing. Stay tuned.

Miami Heat vs. Minnesota Timberwolves

After a sloppy 1st game against the Boston Celtics, the Miami Heat have had a turn around for the better. They are now playing as a team, as a family. With every passing game they are becoming Miami’s dream team, the team they were hoping to see play form the beginning.
On Tuesday, November 2nd, the Miami Heat played again the Minnesota Timberwolves. It was a neck and neck game in the 1st quarter. Jones made 5 out of 9 3 pointers in the first quarter. With only 8:10 in the 2nd quarter, after being fouled by Chris Bosh, Michael Beasley landed hard on his left thigh. In great pain Beasley was carried out to the locker room to get checked. No news have been said about his injury.
Entering the 3rd quarter, Lebron James makes a tricky 2 point shot from he corner of the court. Later, the Miami Heat coming  into the 4th quarter with a 27 point lead. Lebron James, Wade, Bosh, Arroyo, Jones, are just amongst the few dominating the game fro the Heat. The game ends with a win for Miami, 129 to 97.
This is the team the Miami fans were anxious to see from the beginning. The Heat continue the season with a 4 win 1 loss ratio. The
ir next game is on Friday, Novemeber 5th, against the New Orleans Hornets in New Orleans at8 pm. This will be a game to look forward to.

Vampire Diaries Visits South Florida
